1024 - 2x4 & plywood - Pattern
I needed to illustrate a wall section cutaway last week. I was very unhappy with the wood textures I could find to represent the 2x4 studs.... so I made my own. It has the right color, the right grain, and the right level of non-distracting, yet representational texture.

What is a Seamless Texture / Pattern?
A seamless texture is an special image, where one side of a image exactly matches the opposite side, so that the edges blend into each other when repeated. Seamless textures are used for desktop wallpaper, webpage backgrounds, video games, Photoshop fills and in 3D rendering programs.
Want a LARGER version of the texture?
Just head over to my blog for information on how to download a larger version of this texture: zooboingreview.blogspot.com/2012/06/1024-2x4-plywood-patt...
How did you make it?
This texture was made using software specially designed to aid in seamless texture creation. Some of the tools I use are Photoshop, Illustrator, Filter Forge, Genetica, Image Synth, Alien Skin, Topaz Labs, Juice Drops, and even hand drawing.
